Today is the day when I'm officially going to die of excitement.

In the evening I'm expecting to experience a really great thing in my life... Yes, I'm going to see and hear Tori Amos LIVE!

Four months ago, when I got to know about her Sinful Attraction Tour, even though I didn't listen to her new album back then, I said to Fox: "We just HAVE to go!". And so as we decided, the next day we bought two tickets with quite nice seats, not too far from the stage.
After a couple of months waiting, here it is. The day of The Event!

Talking about "Abnormally Attracted To Sin", some of fans may say this latest album of her is not the best work she's ever made - and I must agree. But the more you listen to it, the less you agree with the statement that it's completely weak.
One can say I have to be totally insane but I really DO think that even "Boys For Pele" was weaker than this publication... but I guess it's also a matter of subjective opinion.

'Cause this album has its own way of speaking, its own great power that still can influence one's life - it's just that you have to listen carefully. Tori was always a feminist which really shows on "Abnormally Attracted To Sin". Most of the lyrics talks about the girls who are seduced by the men they loved, closed in the cages, where they must throw away their sexuality because culture and society require it. Actually, the lyrics touch so many issues it's most suitably to say it is a woman's story album - about woman who has still enough power to live as an artist, enough life-experience to show her disagreement to the some absurd laws of the world. This time she's not playing anyone like in her previous albums. And still, she's not the one that reproaches. She's just giving the tips, setting rhetorical questions, and this is something I always very cherished in her works.

Yes, she affects me. Yes, she inspires me. And yes - she changed me; helped me understand what is precious, taught to be myself no matter how life goes.
There's not too many people like her. And that's perfectly the reason why today's evening is so going to be important.
